Vidant Health Foundation

“Vidant Health Foundation is grateful to Ride for the Ribbon for the awareness and support it brings to cancer care in eastern North Carolina. The funds raised go directly to support cancer patients in our community who are most in need. In the past these funds have helped with lodging, food, transportation and prescriptions, as well as pre-screenings/early detection programs, diagnostic procedures such as mammograms, and survivorship programs.”

Ride for the Ribbon is a major supporter of women in our area diagnosed with breast cancer. Cancer Services of Eastern North Carolina has been one of the lucky beneficiaries of this event, which has enabled us to fund wigs, provide breast cancer screenings for the uninsured, and provide financial assistance to those in treatment for breast cancer. We are so very grateful for our partnership!”

“I ride to raise support and awareness for all the women and men who are given the dreaded “C” diagnosis.  Not only am I an employee at our Breast Imaging Center, I am a supporter for anyone facing breast cancer. This event is a way to give back monetarily to everyone that is fighting the battle against beast cancer, and support them by show of solidarity. Every day is a day closer to a cure and by me riding, I am advocating and supporting that. I ride because I believe we can beat this.”
